Castrol SpheerolTM CV Performance is a high quality, lubricating grease developed primarily for the tough trucking environment .

This gel type grease is blended using a combination of base oil, special lithium complex thickener technology and performance additives.

Castrol SpheerolTM BNS 2 is a non melting grease for the lubrication of plain and roller bearings at high temperatures. It has no drop point. This grease is based on an oxidation resistant, thermally stable base oil and an inorganic thickener.

Castrol Spheerol™ EPLX 460 Range (previously called Spheerol EPLX Range) of greases are lithium complex based products containing highly refined mineral oils and fortified with extreme pressure (EP) additives as well as corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. These greases have been formulated with additives that provide good film strength under medium to high loads.

Castrol High Temperature Grease is a high performance, multipurpose lithium complex grease developed using an optimized combination of high quality mineral oil, proprietary thickener technology and a specially selected additive system enabling reliable performance across a wide range of temperatures whilst exposed to a variety of operational loads, speeds and environmental conditions.

Castrol Molub-AlloyTM 860 ES greases are high-performance multi-service lithium complex greases formulated from premium petroleum base oils, lubricating solids and a combination of corrosion inhibitors specifically chosen for protection against corrosive process waters. These are designed to extend the service life of bearings in heavy-duty applications and at elevated temperatures. Molub-Alloy 860 ES greases provide an appropriate oil film for applications at slower to moderate speeds, higher loads, and/or higher temperatures sustained for longer periods of time.

The load-carrying and anti-wear capabilities of Molub-Alloy 860 ES greases exceed conventional complex greases. High performance is the result of chemical additives working synergistically with select Molub-Alloy lubricating solids which are dispersed uniformly throughout the grease. These lubricating solids offer their greatest benefit at slow speeds or when bearings endure heavy loads and shocks. Solids also protect newly machined bearing surfaces during the critical period of ‘running in’. Good bearing surfaces are essential for long service life.

The Castrol Spheerol SY range are lithium complex thickened lubricating greases based on synthetic base fluid. The grease contains antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors and Extreme Pressure / Anti Wear additives.

Molub-Alloy 777 ES greases are designed for very heavy duty service in adverse environments. They are blended and compounded to withstand heavy and shock loading, commonly found in the steel/ primary metals, construction, mining, and forest products industries.

Molub-Alloy 777 ES greases are made using a blend of high quality petroleum oils, polymers and a proprietary blend of Molub-Alloy lubricating solids. These lubricating solids work synergistically with chemical anti-wear and extreme pressure (EP) additives to reduce contact temperatures and wear while providing the ultimate in extreme pressure and shock load anti- weld protection. This blend together with a shear stable thickening system provides a uniquely effective seal against loss of grease or contamination from the atmosphere, even where mechanical seals may be damaged. Rust and oxidation inhibiting characteristics are maximised to afford effective rust protection and long life of the grease.

Castrol TribolTM GR 100 PD (previously called LongtimeTM PD) is a range of lithium based greases containing highly refined mineral oils, enhanced with the MicroFlux Trans (MFT) additive system.

The MFT additive technology provides optimum wear protection and an extremely low coefficient of friction even under extremes of pressure, vibration, shock loads, at high or low speeds or varying micro-smoothing of the friction surfaces. Under severe load, components of the MFT additive combination are activated, initiating an improvement of surface friction characteristics through plastic deformation. The products of that organic reation become a component of the tribopolymer system.

Unlike the case with conventional lubricants, the tribopolymers formed by MFT are long-chained compounds with excellent lubricity and adhesion. This means that the load carrying area is improved and a hydrodynamic lubrication film is easier to maintain. This unique physio-chemical reaction achieves a non-sacrificial micro-smoothing of the friction surfaces.

Castrol Moly Grease is a multipurpose grease, fortified with solid lubricant and developed for both Automotive and Industrial applications. It is based on an optimised balance of mineral base oil, lithium thickener technology and a specially selected additive system incorporating EP/anti-wear chemistry, antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors. The inclusion of molybdenum disulphide enhances load carrying performance whilst reducing friction, especially in those components where reciprocating or sliding motion is prevalent.

SyntiloTM 9954 is a synthetic coolant which has been developed for use as a grinding and heavy duty machining fluid for ferrous metals. Syntilo 9954 has been engineered for the high feed and speed of today’s machining operations.

Syntilo 9954 performs exceptionally well as a replacement for neat cutting oil in applications such as gun-drilling, gearhobbing and broaching. It can be used in both single sump machines as well as central systems.
